weekend recap

12 Apr

Okay, so I know that we are almost halfway through April. BUT I realized after this weekend that this month is chock full of baller weekends (yes, I did just say that). So before I get too worked up over all of the school work that I have to do, I am going to take a post to revel in the awesomeness of springtime at college.

I’ve already extolled the many virtues of Easter Weekend 2010 (if you need a refresher, click here) so I’ll go ahead and recap this last weekend. I went to visit my brother and his girlfriend at her school. The three of us had lots of fun (as we often do when we’re together) AND I got to see a lot of my friends from high school. The weather was perfect! Seriously, I think this has been the nicest streak we’ve had in a long time. Overall, fun weekend.

Next weekend, my bro and his friend are coming to visit (AND Brian!) so that sounds like another recipe for, you guessed it: AWESOME WEEKEND. The weekend after that is Foxfield, which I’ve never been to, but I have heard it’s pretty epic. In the meantime, I try to do some school work during the week so that I don’t feel as guilty about neglecting my studies on the weekends. We’ll see how smart these decisions have been come May. Until then, I’m just having fun : )
