hummus: defying the laws of economics

recipes

26 Apr

[It is currently late at night and I have some sage wisdom about a certain snack food that I thought I should share with the world. You’re welcome.]

Allow me to share with you my love for HUMMUS.

During the fall semester of my second year in college I took ECON 201. One of the basic principles we learned was the Law of Diminishing Returns. I don’t recall the exact wording, but it says something along the lines of the first of something gives you the most return, and everything after that is not as good as the first. The example they gave was always food, so naturally I easily related to and remembered the idea. However, I have found a food that defies this principle.
This delicious dip is like crack to me. The combination of the salty chips and the savory hummus is divine. And the first chip is certainly not the best chip. Each chip seems to get better and better. Clearly, this defies the Law of Diminishing Returns, which I think qualifies this as a MIRACLE SNACK.

I hope everyone feels wiser having read this post. Now make your way to your local grocery and purchase these products. You will be much happier. I’m going to go to sleep now, with a belly full of hummus and chips. In this moment, I am happy.
