I feel like an idiot.
I’ve been wanting to do one of those freezer paper transfer things for a while now. I had the perfect project: a little tote for me to take to the gym with me for my reading materials and whatnot.
I bought a plain tote bag.
I even designed this little thing to go on it.
What’s holding me up? I can’t get the printer to print it at the correct scale. Very annoying. I know how to print from Photoshop. The fact that this is eluding me is embarrassing. Grr. Perhaps I will have better luck tomorrow.
Have any of you tried this craft? Did you get good results?
Hi Kate! This is Paige from Dunglison first year. I will absolutely admit to creeping on your blog because I love all the wedding/crafty updates. I have been stenciling for the past…6-7 years or so. I love freezer paper! Some advice: Make sure when you iron the freezer paper onto your tote you have a really tight seal so the paint doesn't bleed. I would also suggest a sharp tool for cutting out the design but I'm sure you know your way around an X-acto knife as an A-schooler, so I don't think this advice is necessary, haha. Good luck!
Hi Paige! Thanks for the heads up- I still haven't tried it yet after getting frustrated trying to print, but I'll move on to the actual craft someday, haha. I'm excited to try it and I'll definitely keep those things in mind. And thanks for commenting! I always love finding out that people I know are reading my blog : )
