Okay, so this is a little overdue, but I thought it was worth revisiting. If you haven’t seen this movie already, DO IT. I saw it two Saturday nights in a row. That’s rare for me. It’s the kind of movie that sticks with you for a good while after you’ve seen it.
Yes, it’s about the creation of Facebook. But it’s also about the human qualities in people (particularly young people) that allow Facebook to be so successful. The movie does a beautiful job of contrasting social constructs old and new. Basically, it’s about a lot more than the creation of Facebook.
The Social Network might be my favorite movie that I’ve seen this year. It was that good. If you’ve seen it already, what did you think?
