Brian and I ventured on home this weekend to see my baby brother star in the high school play. I was so glad we went- the cast did a great job and it was so much fun to see him doing what he loves most.
I also got to spend some time with this little person and her similarly adorable brother.
{see the family resemblance? As Janie and I discussed, we both have yellow hair}
Brian and I headed back home yesterday afternoon, only to get stuck in traffic due to a tractor-trailer fire. Yes, really. What should have taken four hours, took six. Okay, we did stop to eat. First for ice cream. Then for pad thai. But still. It sucked.
Today has been slow. I napped for over an hour (I know… embarassing), went to the gym, did laundry, grocery shopped… the usual Monday stuff for the most part. It’s been hard to get stuff done coming off of the weekend. Despite getting the extra hour of sleep yesterday, which is always awesome.
Today, I registered for my LAST SEMESTER OF COLLEGE. How did this happen? I’m trying to be a big girl and not be sad about college being over, but it seems like kind of a big deal. I have a lot to look forward to, but I’m always reluctant to move on to the next stage in my life. I was the same way when I was a senior in high school. Actually, compared to how I was when I was a senior in high school, I think I’m doing pretty well. But it’s only November. There is still plenty of time to freak out.
Monday is almost over! Yay! Perhaps I’ll be better about posting this week… we’ll see : )
