Hello, 2011

1 Jan

I’ve been struggling with how I wanted to document the coming of the new year on this old blog. I decided against doing a recap post for 2010 like I did last year; I felt like there weren’t as many concrete things to put on it. I decided not to make a list of resolutions like I did last year, some of which were accomplished and some of which were not. What I did decide to do is to write about the major life events that I am looking forward to in 2011.

– Barring any major clerical errors, I will graduate from college in May. I cannot believe how fast these four years have gone.
– After graduating I will be confronted with the task of finding employment, which will likely have an impact on the direction of my career.
– In August I am GETTING MARRIED. This could be broken down into a million subcategories of things I am excited about, but instead I’m going to lump all the fun preparation, events, and aftermath into one ambiguous bullet.
How many years can you say that you had THREE major life events happen? Pretty crazy, right? I think that 2011 is going to be one for the books. Can’t wait!
