I went home this weekend for the first time since spring break. It was really fun, but it went by so fast.
My little brother and I got home on Friday evening and I went on a run in the beautiful weather. After everyone was home we all went to my favorite Mexican restaurant for chips and salsa and taco salads. Yum.
It rained all day Saturday. My mom and I got lunch at Potbelly and went to discover my new personal heaven, Paper Source. Just… wow. I loved being in there. I was so inspired for our invitations.
Saturday night we went and saw baby bro’s play, Fiddler on the Roof, at my high school. My brother was the constable. It was so cute! I’d never seen the show before, and I really enjoyed it.
I felt so old at this play. While we were there I recognized someone I went to high school with who was in Brian’s class. I was wondering why he was there and then remembered that he is now a teacher there. Wait… what? How is that possible?
I think I’m getting a cold. I slept terribly last night. Once I got up, I spent the day packing and unpacking some things I had brought home with short bursts of working in the yard with my mom in the beautiful weather. I was sad that I got home just before the azaleas are blooming, they look like there are about to bloom any day!
I got back around 8:00 and have been, unsuccessfully, trying to get some work done. How was your weekend?
