makeover!

18 Oct

Some of you may have noticed that as of yesterday evening things are looking a little different around here.  I hope you will click around and check out the new features (new pages coming SOON!)

Let’s take a short trip down memory lane… let’s start at the very beginning.

Friends, I have to admit: I have been keeping a little secret.  Over that last month or so I took the Blog Designer Workshop, taught by April of April Showers Blog Design.  I learned a TON and I learned how to redesign my blog through her class.  Initially my goal was to just learn more about web design, but now I am working towards designing blogs on a more professional level.  I am so excited and I’m hoping to get this new venture off the ground in the next few weeks.

SO, if you have been thinking about updating the look of your blog I would LOVE to talk to you about it!  I’m working on building a portfolio right now and I would love to work with any of my blog readers!  Feel free to shoot me an email at stripesandpolkadots {dot} blog {at} gmail {dot} com.

This is great! And I love how you've done it all by yourself. I am actually planning to do another makeover in December, when I will definitely learn CSS and some more html. Can't wait to see your portfolio! This is so FUN :D

I am so glad you found me! I am so interested in the workshops on 'The Blog Designer Workshop'. There is only so much you can do with Google searching.

p.s. your layout is gorgeous! you should be totally proud. I can't wait to see more of your work. And hopefully borrow some of the trick you might share.
