sick day

photography· recipes

19 Oct

Last night I was feeling a little under the weather, so I turned my phone on alarm-only and took the day off.  I’m glad I did because I woke up feeling pretty crummy.  So after a quick trip to the grocery store I’ve spent the day in my yoga pants spending entirely too much time staring at my computer working on a project that I am hoping to share with you all SOON.

{from my mom’s tea cup collection}

What makes you feel better, friends?  I made a fresh pot of coffee this afternoon and made a cup with my fancy creamer and I was so happy.  And I may have begged/ convinced Brian to make chocolate chip cookies tonight.  Win.

    Cute cute cute blog! I'm you're newest follower!
    Oh no! I hope you don't have the same sick-thing that I do- that cough/throat crud. It's awful! A fresh pot of coffee and yoga pants, that sounds like a great lounging day! I hope you feel better soon!

    Hi! You're so sweet to have posted on my blog twice! I'm so lucky! (I figured this was the only way to communicate right now)
    My dad and his side of the family are from Madison, VA, and I grew up going up there at least 1-2 times per year. I would have gone to UVA if I had the grades, since it was my top school, but I didn't get in. My fingers are crossed that we'll end up there, because not only will I vicariously live through him as a UVA student, it's my favorite place! Seriously if I could, I would move to Charlottesville right now! Trust me, any medical school in Virginia sounds better to me than being in Jackson, MS! I'm hoping Peter gets accepted, it would be the best thing ever!

    Have a great night, and thanks again for the sweet comments!

    Hi Kate! Thanks for introducing yourself over at my blog! I really do love boots and slippers too. I also realized that the cold weather means my cat will become a lap cat again…which always makes me happy!
    Hope you feel better soon!
