Since the launch of Katelyn Brooke Designs, I’ve been trying to decide how to balance posting regularly and keeping the content relevant to you guys, my readers. So far all of my posts have been related to blog designs, but for now it might be difficult to keep content on the blog fresh if that is all I post about. So tell me, what would you be interested in reading?
Let me know what you think, but I was thinking that one thing that would be fun would be to just type about blogging in general. I try to limit this as much as possible on my other blogs, but as a blogger, I find it immensely helpful to read any nuggets of wisdom that other bloggers have stumbled upon that make their lives easier. I’m no expert by any means, but in my two years of blogging I’ve learned a few things along the way.
Today, I’ve decided to share with you guys my favorite blogging resources. In the last few months, I’ve read a lot about the practice of blogging and how to build your blog community. These are my four favorites.
Blogging with Amy I can (and have) spent hours on Amy’s site. There is so much great info on here.
ProBlogger Darren Rowse is pretty much the authority on making it big as a blogger. His credentials are impressive and this site is very detailed and helpful.
Blog Designer Network Many of you probably know this one already, it might be how you got here in the first place! Although this one is more geared towards design, they are featuring a FREE class on the basics of blogging in December, and they regular feature other helpful goodies as well.
Makin’ Cute Blogs If you’re ever looking to do some DIY Blog Design, this is the place to go. There are many tutorials and they are so helpful- I’ve used them plenty of times! She also features a ton of free and cute graphics that you can use on your blog!
Hope those are helpful! Let me know what I should write about, and don’t forget to enter the giveaway! Less than 48 hours to go!
Thanks for sharing these resources! Honestly I like reading about blog design – the more the better.
Thanks Emily! I will definitely keep posting about blog design, I’m just looking for some other topics to fill in the gaps when I don’t have too much to say about it :)
