I bought this book at the recommendation of one of my professors my senior year of college. It was a drawing class geared specifically towards architecture students, and it wound up being my favorite classes that I took in college. Although was particularly relevant to students in the class, I think it would be valuable for anyone looking to improve their drawing skills, regardless of their background.
I must admit that when it comes to reading non-fiction, I’m painfully slow. I have been slowly making my way through this for a while, and what I’ve read so far is really inspiring. There are tons of great pictures of art work, as well as many exercises to try on your own. I’ve found it to be very useful.
Thank you for this tip, Kate! I really need some ideas on how to improve my understanding of viewpoints so this might be very useful for me.
