Scenes from Christmas 2011

29 Dec
I took a ton of pictures on Christmas Eve and I couldn’t let the new year roll in without sharing just a handful.    As usual, I took too many pictures of things and rooms and far too few of people.  I need to work on that.  A goal for 2012, perhaps?
My mom hosted Christmas Eve this year and we had a full house.  I think we counted over 25 people.  My mom set three beautiful tables and we had a ton of delicious food.  It felt special.
I hope you had a wonderful holiday and are getting excited to ring in the new year!

Your Christmas looks just wonderful! I have the same problem..I'm constantly trying to remind myself to shoot people, not just places & things!

    Beautiful pictures!

As you know, I just love that sign. It is so so pretty and I love that it can have a double meaning. Your pictures are so beautiful! :)

Your photos are beautiful! It's funny, I struggle with not taking enough photos of people also. Awesome New Year's resolution!

I love these, even without the people! I\m like you: I really need to work on my portrait and people photography skills. That is definitely a New Year's resolution for me!

[…] This year we celebrated Christmas Eve at Brian’s parents’ house, and then Christmas at my parents’ house.  Brian’s dad’s birthday is on the 24th, so it was nice to get to spend the day over there.  My mom hosted a big dinner for about 25 people on Christmas day, like she did last year on Christmas Eve.
