Hi everyone!  It’s been a big year.  I had entirely too much fun putting this post together.  I hope you have fun reading it, too, since I know many of you have only started following along in the last couple of months!  Enjoy!

January
{sorry for the blurry pic}

My college roommates threw me a surprise bridal shower.  I also discovered Pinterest, and let’s face it, it changed my life.

February
{sorry for having no pic.  last parenthetical apology, pinky promise}

I sprained my ankle in a big way, which ruined my plans of running a 10-Miler in the spring (maybe this year?)

March

I went home for spring break and made some serious headway on wedding planning.  I decided to design my own invitations and later taught myself how to do calligraphy.

April

I took my first romp with a DSLR that I borrowed from school.  I also came to grips with graduation and kept on wedding planning.
May

I graduated from college.  Period.
June

June was kind of a big month.  My mom and I went to the beach, my aunts and my grandma threw me a bridal shower, I saw U2 again, and we picked out our wedding flowers.
July
Crunch time!  We had a fun 4th of July, my MOH threw a neighborhood bridal shower, and I wrapped up my job as a swim coach.
August
Brian and I got married and went on our honeymoon.  My dad also celebrated the big 5-0.
September
Brian and  I got settled in our new apartment and Stripes and Polka Dots marked it’s 2 year anniversary.  My blog grew a lot this month as I finally understood what it meant to reach out to other bloggers.
October

I celebrated my 23rd birthday and got my camera.  We also had a fun and easy Halloween costume.
November
I launched Katelyn Brooke Designs and Sketch and Wash.  I also hosted Wedding Week and we celebrated Thanksgiving with our families.
December
We successfully celebrated our first Christmas as a married couple.  It was wonderful.
Fun Facts:
Most read post: when my blog grows up… (thanks to a Kelly’s Korner link-up!)
Biggest traffic month: November
Top referral site: Facebook
Final Follower Count: 84 (next year I’ll do the same thing and see how much we’ve grown!  I know that in September I only had 10!)
Twitter followers: 80
Pinterest stats: 2056 pins, 29 boards
Thank you so much for a wonderful year, friends!  Blogging and the relationships that I have formed as a result bring so much joy to my life.  Thanks for reading and I am so looking forward to 2012 and all that it brings!  I’m planning on posting some goals and resolutions after the new year, I can’t wait!
Did you write a post like this?  Let me know!  I love reading them!

P.S. Here is the 2009 recap, I didn’t do one for 2010!  Shame!

This was such a great post! I LOVED it, especially since I am a new follower – so much information in one post! I would love to teach myself calligraphy – I am so the kind of girl who re-writes things over and over until they look absolutely perfect (some say obsessive) :/ What a wonderful year you had filled with accomplishments and weddings! Perfect! I will be making a post just like this tomorrow!

I am so glad I found your blog :)
    xoxo
    Erin.

It looks like 2011 was VERY good for you and I am looking forward to following your journey into 2012. Happy New Year!

I can't imagine trying to graduate college AND plan a wedding. They were both stressful enough on their own! I love your recap! And, Happy New Year! :)
