The first time Brian and I ever visited Lexington was a sunny morning after it had snowed. On the way, we passed Rockfish Gap. I was in awe. It was this snowy little valley, and the panoramic view from 64 was breathtaking. It was one of the first times when I really appreciated how beautiful the state of Virginia really is.
Brian and I finally stopped at one of the rest stops along the way to look at the view. It was nice to see it from a stand still for once.
When ever I visit my grandparents in Tennessee, I really enjoy hiking on the Pinnacle Overlook Trail in Middlesboro, Kentucky. Also love driving on 58 (Daniel Boon Hwy…haha) through Ewing/Rose Hill/Jonesvill, Virginia. Your photos make me want to take a trip South!
What beautiful pictures! It does look absolutely breathtaking.
