Call me crazy, but I’ve been ready for spring since September. I am a warm weather kind of girl and once the fall weather begins, I get goose bumps and shakes and not because of the creepy Halloween decorations my neighbors hang on their front doors. That being said, spring is welcome around here anytime now. I officially extend an open invitation to both spring and summer (mostly because I am tired of thick socks and heaters).
Spring, are you here yet? I’m waiting for you. “Hello, Sunshine. Hello, Happiness.” That’s my philosophy.
Though spring is still lingering in the outskirts of the hemisphere, I was brave today. I crawled out of my (many) blankets and ventured into the great outdoors (by which I mean I went to Wal-Mart and church). The weather was sunny with a nip in the air. Let’s hope the nip fades…ASAP.
Oh! No! I haven’t properly introduced myself!
Hi! I’m Hannah!
You may be wondering why some crazy girl named Hannah with a ridiculous aversion to the cold hacked Kate’s blog just so she cold complain to you about the weather. But just so you know, I didn’t exactly hack anything. I simply emailed Kate the over spill of my innermost thoughts, along with a pretty picture, and for some reason, she agreed to post it all here. She’s sweet like that.
Speaking of Kate, she asked me to write for her, because she is on a spring break trip.
A spring break trip. Ha. I don’t buy it. I think she is on a secret mission to save the world from imminent destruction.
Some people have all the fun.
So, anyway, Kate asked me to write about spring. And let me tell you, I like spring. A lot. Has that already been established? It has? Oh, right.
Then let me tell you this: I am so anxious for spring that I am crouching at an open window, ready to swan dive into the sunlight at the first sign of a day with a high of 70 or above.
Yup.
Okay, that’s not entirely true. First of all, I live on the third floor and jumping out of the window would be terribly unwise. Second of all, I have better things to do than sit at window and wait for spring. By “better things”, I am referring to my ultimate goal of getting famous (on the internet). Yup. That’s the goal of my life. To go viral. I haven’t found a way yet, but trust me, one day…
Okay, obviously, going viral is not the only goal of my life. Besides, I am a little neurotic and highly doubt I could handle all the criticisms and trolling comments. I’d rather not be the next Rebecca Black, thankyouverymuch.
So, for now, I am happy blogging over here in my own little corner and waiting, on the edge of my computer chair, for the spring. I’m going to go stare out the window now. Bye.
