That didn’t really do the trick. I was itching to take some spring pictures, so I had this grand idea that Brian and I would go on a walk, I would take pictures, then at some point I would hand him the camera and he could take some pictures of me. A photoshoot never hurt anyone, right?
Well we decided to make a date of it and drive to the restaurant where we wanted to eat, park, and then go on our walk through town. It was a great plan, really. Up until the point when it started to rain right after that last picture was snapped. Not a pouring rain, but rain nonetheless. We had walked for 30 minutes, which meant we had a long walk back ahead of us. In the rain. With my camera. And my hair. Fail.
So the weather kind of put a damper on things. And the next night? Gorgeous. Simply amazing weather. I made Brian go take pictures again, but that time I had just gone for a run, so you won’t see any pictures of me from that trip. And it came in handy when we were out later, I can’t remember a milder St. Patrick’s Day!
How was your weekend, friends?
well you look cute despite the “its about to rain!”
Im glad you had a fun weekend!!
Now have a wonderful week!

Your pictures are beautiful! I love that we are starting to see some pretty spring flowers!! :)
Cherry Trees, Daffodils, Forsythia, little blue flowers! Sometimes it takes a little adventure to start to feel better. Rain just makes the story a little better to go home and then put on the Yoga pants! xoxo A-
Love your pictures… looks like a really nice place where you live :]
Your pictures are lovely—even if the weather didn't hold up quite the way you expected. Impromptu photoshoots are so much fun, and it's a great way to see things from a different light.
I was just talking about this, but I ended up going out with some girlfriends on Saturday morning for pedicures, relaxing, beating some stormy tornado-ish weather, enjoying a gin & tonic, and laughing hysterically at Steve Rannazzisi's stand-up performance.
Happy Monday!
lovely!
Just stumbled upon your blog- it is adorable!!!
Love these! You always look so cute on those photos :) Must be a joy being taken pictures of when you'r so pretty on them. Lucky girl!
I checked out your post on sketch and wash with the blooming cherry trees and I loved them. I just visited the Japanese tea garden in the Golden Gate Park, but the cherry trees there were not blooming as much as those you had on those pictures. And this is California! It must certainly be a mild spring over there :D
This looks like the perfect weekend. And wow – so many flowers already! I am getting excited to see the first spring flowers. I've noticed them sprouting already.
We moved from NC to CA last summer and these pictures make me miss the east coast so much. Spring is so beautiful!
Wow! These pictures are so beautiful! Love your blog! xo
I hate when I have days like that – I often feel all frumpy and gross. Typical lately, I've noticed. But really, what amazing pictures you got out of the “date/walk”! I loved the weather on St. Patties Day as well…so gorgeous!
Hope you have a wonderful week!
xoxo.
Your spring pictures are so pretty! I definitely have days like that…written as I sit here in yoga pants! :) Your cardigan is such a pretty shade of pink. The cherry blossom trees are blooming here in Boston too and it's always one of my favorite parts of spring.
Have a wonderful day, pretty lady!
