Thank you so much for all your recommendations yesterday!  Last night I wound up making this chicken recipe I found on Marci’s blog, and mac and cheese as a side (with some garlic, as suggested by Katie!)  Not exactly light, but what better to get you out of your cooking rut than to throw some mac and cheese together?  YUM!

What are you up to this weekend, friends?  Between my weekend away last and my mom being in town early this week, I’ve been a little behind so tomorrow I’ll be catching up on work.  I’m actually not sad about it, I guess that means that I love what I’m doing!  Then we’re having some visitors tomorrow night, I’m so excited!  Hope your weekend is fabulous, whatever you’re up to.

 I couldn’t agree more.

I really need to focus better.

My grandparents on my dad’s side were deaf, and I just loved this post on sign language.

If you need a little blog pep talk, here it is.

There are lots of posts about Pinterest out there, but I thought this one was particularly good.

A gorgeous bouquet, and a cute story about brothers and sisters to go with it!

Wouldn’t this make incredible wrapping paper?

This post on education is so interesting.  There are so many ways to get where you’re going.

My first outfit post EVER!

I revealed TWO designs this week!  Check out the post on Small Town Stripes.

A call for your lighter recipes.

Finally, those pictures of the restaurant that I promised in JANUARY!
