Let’s think about this picture as being what I would like to feel like right now (serene and composed) as opposed to how I’m actually feeling. It always scares me when I feel totally overwhelmed before the week has even started. Today and the last couple of days I’ve been subbing to make sure that I meet my requirement to stay in the school system, and all of my online work seems to have snowballed in the meantime. But don’t worry friends, I’m hoping to get back on track over the course of the next few days, so if I owe you an email, be on the lookout.
I really did have a nice weekend. I got lots of friends and family time in, which was awesome. My weekend included a soccer game, a track meet, a Cinco de Mayo get together, a long run, and even some wine and margaritas. What were you up to this weekend?
Whew, I know what you mean! I've been under the overwhelm myself. Give yourself some grace! You're busy being talented, so just keep you chin up and soldier on! I hope you have an awesome week.
The rose image is beautiful! I have very similar ones on the side of my house! I'm happy to hear you had a nice weekend! xoxo A-
Not a great weekend for me but Im glad yours was good :)
You're registered for a half, right? Good job on getting the long run in!
This weekend we celebrated a friend's birthday, then on Sunday I volunteered and went to a Junior League interest meeting. I didn't get a lick of work (blogging or otherwise) or cleaning done, but that's what the week is for…right?
That sounds fun! I'm actually doing a 10k, so not that long, thank goodness!
I can completely relate! I was having panic attacks last night at the thought of getting back to work today. gah!
My weekend was enjoyable as well though. I was up north at the cottage and got to enjoy some fresh air, wine and friends.
Our weekend was pretty peaceful, just chilling out.
