Katelyn Brooke

from the balcony: a series

photography

8 May

I took some pictures from our balcony the morning before we moved out, and I never posted them. Instead of posting them by themselves, I thought I would put them all together in the same place as a way of documenting the seasons from the first year in our little apartment.

One | Two | Three | Four | Five | Six | Seven | Album

P.S.  My second article on LA Family is UP! Like I said, I would be so grateful for any feedback or help you could give me sharing, tweeting, commenting, rating it- I appreciate every bit of it!

I love this! Seeing similar shots at different times of the year, what a neat idea!

This is so cool. Beautiful pictures. I was thinking of doing the same thing with the traffic light poles that people stick stickers on.

I just read your article and really liked it. I could relate in many ways – we recently had to live with my parents, too for a bit and just recently got our own place. It's a weird in between phase that I didn't expect as an adult. Thanks for writing it because it made me feel a bit better about my own situation.

What a cool series of pictures! It's so neat to see them all together like this. That was a cute tree to have just beyond your balcony
