Katelyn Brooke

Hi! It’s Monday.

weekend recap

21 May

I was recording my vlog for my LA Family article this week, and I thought it would be fun to say hi to you guys.  So if you want to hear about my weekend or if you need a little laugh today, watch my vlog.

One things I left out: I ran 7 miles yesterday.  Ouch.  Just be glad I didn’t think to whine at you guys in my vlog, because that would have been reallly annoying.

Don’t forget to tell me about your weekend!  It always brightens my day.  Have a great Monday, friends!

Hey girl heyyyyy. Great vlog. I clicked over from Twitter and I'm so glad I did. You're cute. “I went to a funeral.. and it was sad. Because funerals are sad.” Haha… I probably shouldn't be laughing at that, but eh. Glad you had a nice weekend doing outsides things. Sunshine is good company to be in!

7 miles? Wha?? You are so much more of a woman than I am, haha. I can't even muster the giddyup to tie my shoelaces. ;) Hehe. I pondered doing a vlog today. I didn't, but the thought crossed my mind. I'm glad you did, though! You're so adorable!

Yay vlog! Love it! My weekend was spent outside, too. Lots of gardening and construction projects (I just watched and “supervised” those).

How sweet! It's so nice to hear your voice and actually see you. I think you learn to know so much more about a persons nature from seeing them through a vlog. I really want to do this too one day, but I'm not that confident yet.

However, I think I will post some more videos soon. This weekend I've been actually making a film about spring, but it's mostly just Sigurd on a bike and views from a train :P I feel like I learn a lot though!

You're the cutest!! I love your eyes … in a totally non-lesbian way. Haha.
I agree with you 100% on the funeral subject. I want my funeral to be a good time, not everyone weeping the whole time… if that makes sense.

7 miles? You go girl. I ran 3 1/2 on Sunday, but it was hot and humid so I didn't go further. Good for you!! :)

This weekend I hung out and had dinner with an old friend, met another friend's newborn twins for the first time, and enjoying lots of R & R in between!

    :)

    xoxo

Hey Kate! I know what you mean about a fun funeral. I thought the other day that I think I just want them to do fireworks on the beach for me one day :)

Weekend was great. The weather her was spectacular! We also had a long weekend so no complaints from me :)

Dude, you're so stinkin' adorable. ;)
I hope I have a “fun” funeral too. That's a totally weird thing to think about and say out loud, but it's true! Funny story, the son of my parents' friends is boarding with them for a year because his work placement is near where they live. Anyhow, he's studying to be a funeral director, so when I was up visiting them a week or so ago, he was telling me all sorts of funeral-y stories. This isn't all that relevant nor does this really have any point, except that your little funeral ramble made me think of it. So that's my story. ;) haha
