how would you like yours?

Uncategorized

30 May

Do you drink coffee?  I started drinking it some time in college, and now I’m hooked.  My mom read this article recently about caffeine and decided that we should drink half-caff.  We haven’t switched yet, so we’ll see how that goes.  I’m a little scared.

I used to not like drinking hot drinks (I know, it was weird) and while I got over that, iced coffee is still my favorite.  I pretty much drink one cup hot in the morning, and then it’s iced the rest of the day.  I also am really into iced tea these days, and I’m happy to swap iced tea for coffee if it’s not decaf.

I’m curious- if you’re a coffee drinker, how do you like your coffee?  These days I drink it with Splenda and fat free half and half. (iced, of course!)  When I get iced coffee at Starbucks I like to sprinkle a little cinnamon on top!  How about you?

I seriously wish I could drink coffee! I've tried so many different kinds and I didn't like a single one. It sure would be nice for those mornings when I need a boost! (the smell is great… if only it tasted like that!)

I try to brew my own coffee at home to save money. I usually drink it black, but I buy yummy-flavored grounds from World Market (Texas Turtle, Hazelnut, etc.). At Starbucks, my go-to drink is a non-fat, no-whip Peppermint Mocha (hot in the winter, iced in the summer). Yum! If I try a new or local coffee shop, I usually stick with a regular latte or mocha, sometimes with vanilla. That was probably way more info than you wanted haha, but I do love my coffee! :)

I LOOOOVE coffee. But I can't get behind iced coffee for some reason. It's like drinking just an old cold cup of coffee. And I got REALLY into drinking tea when I moved to England since the only coffee (non-espresso) they had was powdered (and that just isn't right). I hopped on the iced tea movement when I get engaged to my husband. He's southern, so sweet tea is a staple in the fridge.

I need to move to half-caff again because I think my body is too addicted to caffeine. I get the worst headaches on the weekends when my caffeine consumption drops.

I don't like the taste of coffee so I've never really been for it…I stick to my hot chocolates and frozen ones.

Iced coffee is my favorite! After it gets to be warmer than about 60 degrees outside, I switch to it. If I order at Starbucks, I just add half and half. If I order it at my local coffee shop that does a 24-hour cold brew, I drink it black. It takes like chocolate!

I didn't start drinking coffee seriously until law school (college was all diet coke, all the time), but now I drink it black. I love the taste of most coffee, but I think I really do it because it seems cooler…maybe this afternoon I'll let myself have some sugar :)

I love coffee, I don't feel like my morning is complete until I've had a cup. I usually wake up and make it first thing in the morning, then I sit in bed and drink it while I watch the today show! I love it with the vanilla creamer!

I love coffee, but I limit myself to no more than one cup a day, and that's the only caffeine I get. There are some days when that is not enough, but I try and push through! I like mine hot or iced, with a bit of unsweetened vanilla almond milk and a little bit of sugar.

I usually cheat and get a soy chai latte. If I get coffee, and it's not a seasonal drink, I just get a soy misto, and I add stevia and cinnamon.

Lately I have been drinking it black – because I am trying desperately to cut some sugar from my diet. I would DIE without coffee. Literally.

For me , a double long black espresso in the morning, and in the afternoon, hot chocolate with a shot of espresso (and in late afternoon, one or two cups of green tea to counteract the sugar and fat in the aforesaid hot chocolate).

I am a coffeee drinker I wasn't at first until i started this job. haha, Now I drink it anyway, hot using k-Cups, I go an amazing coffee stand downstairs outside of my job, I get a 4/5 shot Latte no sugar just one tablespoon of mocha syrup. I've gotten to the point where the stronger the better. But for me the best Iced coffee is from Dunkin Donuts a tiny bit of sugar/cream it's heaven.

at work, I have black coffee with no sugar, but at home I only have coffee with lots of milk (still no sugar though) – how funny is that? it's like serious coffee v. recreational coffee.

I LOVE coffee, but haven't had much lately due to pregnancy. I cut back to half caf a long time ago, and now have switched to decaf if I have it at all. I do miss it though….that looks delish!

I like mine, hot or cold, with lots of cinnamon vanilla creamer!

When I let myself enjoy a cup of coffee, it always has to be a Non-Fat White Mocha from Starbucks. I only enjoy hot drinks in the winter months. Other than that, when I'm cruising through Starbucks this time of year it's Unsweet Passion Tea all the way. ;)

I wish I were a coffee person because it would make my social life a bit easier! (: If I do drink coffee, I usually like to have some kind of coconut creamer. I love tea though. And coke – that's where I get all of my caffeine!

I'm like your Mom. I'm a iced coffee person, but half reg and half decaf. Still great taste and flavor, but less caffiene. I changed bc I didnt like that I went without it for one day and had a massive headache which told me that my body was addicted. I also love mixing coconut creamer in there as well. You can get it at Whole Foods and its delish.

We do half-caff! Once you get over the withdrawal, you won't miss it. =)

I take my coffee with a little liquid stevia and soy creamer, but if I'm feeling indulgent, I love getting a fancy coffee when I'm out.

I was a coffee FREAK at my old job – at least four shots of espresso a day. I've toned it down a bit but still like my iced coffee – with nonfat milk and no sugar
