It’s time for another Art to Inspiration post! This month we are looking at “Float” by Jill Ricci. I’m a true procrastinator, so naturally I was planning how I was going to put this post together as I was falling asleep last night. I was picturing the piece in my head, and the word “plates” popped into my head. It was actually kind of funny.
My mom has plates hanging everywhere in our house. They’re all over the place. I love how different each of them are, and how some of the scenes seem to tell their own little story. I guess I’m just easily influenced by my surroundings, because last month’s post was very much inspired my parents’ house as well.

Those plates are all so beautiful! Loving your blog. I'll be reading! xo
We both posted about family memories today! I love it!
This is a really neat way of interpreting the piece of art, Kate. I love the decorative plates!
gosh i didn't even think of the resemblance to plates but i totally see it now kate!
I love the patterns of these and how they fit so well together. Did I tell you that I'm a hoarder of plates and cups? I just can't get too many of them :)
I just signed up for this- can't wait until next month's! Also- I just happened across your blog, count me as your newest follower!
