because you can’t have too many flower photos

I thought today was a good time to take you on a little garden tour again!  See how big they’ve gotten?

See that last pot?  That one was just all the leftover flowers that we weren’t going to plant (the ones in the market packs in my earlier yard post) and eventually I stuck them in there.  I like them because I feel like I rescued them from certain death, or something like that.

I’m not loving those ruffled petunias, because they’re getting really leggy, but everything else is looking pretty good.  I love the begonias this year, and that pink and yellow pot is one of my faves.

On a side note, I got up an hour earlier than I usually do, and I feel so accomplished!  I went for a run, took and edited pictures, and watered all the hostas in our backyard (which is a lot!)  Tomorrow is the first day of the summer program that I teach for, but after that’s over remind me to keep getting up early.

What time do you wake up?  I usually get up between 8 and 8:30, but 7:15 worked nicely for me today!

Beautiful! The last plant I tried to grow, I managed to kill in 4 days, which I'm pretty sure is some kind of record.

I also usually wake up between 8 and 8:30 but want to work on getting up earlier. I actually have my alarm set for 7 but it never happens. I'm so not a morning person.

    The flowers look beautiful!
My alarm goes off at 5:02. I usually crawl out of bed around 5:20.
On my days off I usually wake up between 7-8.

I love the flowers! That is exactly what I want to do with our landscaping, so thanks for the great inspiration :)

I like those pots a lot!

I usually wake up around 7:45 but this week I've been sleeping in until 9:30.. I can't seem to shake it!

I also wake up around 8:30, and like Lisa, I always set my alarm for earlier but I never wake up then. Today I surprised myself and got up at 7:30 (which was totally necessary – I had a ton of stuff to prep before a 10 a.m. meeting). I don't have to be in the office at any set time, so I think that's why I get lazy. I recently purchased a wake-up lamp since our bedroom has no windows (weird condo configuration), and that really helped this morning!

I love fresh flowers and hostas. I wish we had a garden!

Nope, you can never ever have too my flower pictures. :) I miss living somewhere near them. I have such a brown thumb, I've tried to keep some alive on my balcony, but they always die. :(

I set my alarm for 8:30, and usually get up by about 9. I know it's really bad for you, but I like to just lay there for a little while half awake, half asleep. I'd like to try pushing my wake time to earlier – for awhile, I was getting up at about 5:30 and it was GLORIOUS how much more accomplished I'd feel.

I too have an obsession with photographing flowers, I've been trying to save my blog from flower overload, but I think they're lovely. Keep posting flower pictures, I love them :) and I get up at 5:15 on work days, too early for my liking, but tend to sleep in until 9 on the weekends. Perhaps I'll try giving myself an extra hour this weekend and see how it works out :)

I like waking up early. I'm sort of forced to, since I work east coast hours. I wake up at 6:00, start work at 7:00. Done by 3:00. On the weekends I wake up around 7:30…that seems to be the latest I can sleep! It is both a blessing and a curse.

My Instagram is full of flower pictures…they're my fave! ;)

My alarm goes off at 6:45 Mon-Fri & it's all I can do to get out of the house by 8:00 for work. I wish I was a morning person! The only place/time that I like to get up early is when at the beach on vacation. There's something about the quiet of the morning before the rest of the family wakes up that makes me feel like I'm truly vacationing.

    Have a wonderful weekend!

Love those pictures of your mom's begonias and petunias! Beautiful! I wake up at 6:00 every morning, and then around 7:00 on the weekends. My old college self would slap me if she heard that. I never used to be a morning person (I used to complain about having 9:30 a.m. classes), but with work, I guess now I'm just used to it. Staying up late is now torturous for me!

These are wonderful, your yard looks so nice (this is your yard right?!)–

I wake up, well, ashamed to admit it it, around 10 am. I have quite a different schedule than most!

On days I can wake up whenever I want, I usually wake up at 7, think that's too early, and go back to bed until 8 or so. :)

Video Games Help To Improve Strategic Thinking
It is rather rare that a video game doesn’t require or demand its player to think and make decisions two or three steps ahead of a current situation. Players who play regularly will quickly learn the benefit of strategic and forward thinking and they may start to apply such trait to actual world opportunities.
