10 for 10: Pinterest and Dribbble

social media

14 Feb

Happy Valentine’s Day!  Today I’m sharing my favorite profiles to follow on Pinterest and Dribbble.  Not especially Valentine-y, but I kinda lucked out so you might think that I planned the colors of the graphic!

10 profiles to follow on Pinterest and Dribbble

Last week I went over my criteria for choosing profiles– I’ve tried to not just make it a giant repeat of everyone listed on the Resources page, but you’ll see some of the same faces, especially for Pinterest.  There shouldn’t be any duplicates from my first 10 for 10 post, so make sure you check out these 20 awesome sites!

Pinterest

Like I discussed a few weeks ago- I’m a total dork about Pinterest.  So it was really hard to narrow it down to just 10!  I tried to pick people whose profiles I noticed I was often repinning from and I loved when I was looking at just their boards and their whole pin feed (and I gotta give a shout out to Sara, Lisa, and Erika who are my “repins from” profiles right now!)

Ashlee Proffitt of Ashlee Proffitt || I love Ashlee’s style.  Her branding board is full of pink, curly hand lettering, and ruffly flowers.  What’s not to like?

Chelsea Costa of Lovely Indeed || Lots of glitter and confetti.  Her aesthetic is modern and fun.

Colleen Ludovice of Inspired to Share ||  She has an eye for clean images with pops of color.  Love that!

Ez Pudewa of Creature Comforts || Love all the white in the images she pins. And I’m always finding great people to follow on her Pinterest Pros series.

Lauren Smith of Seventeenth & Irving || Lauren is always pinning great clothes and is a fellow architecture junkie like me.

Mimi Nicole Events of Mimi Nicole Events || I love Jillian’s eye for gorgeous events.  And I’m a sucker for flowers.

Rebecca Gallop of A Daily Something || I love how all of her images are clean and seem to be modern and traditional at the same time.

Sara Kate Studios of Sara Kate Studios || I love the traditional elements mixed in with graphic images.

Stephanie Creekmur of Road Called Life || Stephanie has a girly aesthetic and I love her use of color on her own site and in her work.

Whitney English of Whitney English || I always seem to be repinning whatever Whitney pins.  I’m especially fond of her brand style guides board.

Dribbble

I’m a prospect on Dribbble (and if you have an invite you’d like to throw my way, that would make my week/month/year!) so I go long stretches of time without visiting, but every time I do I’m glad that I did!  There’s always so much inspiration to be had, and in contrast to Pinterest, everything that gets posted seems to be very intentional.

breanna rose of breanna rose || I love how Bre posts often and posts different versions of her projects- you can really get a feel for her creative process.

Eva Black of Eva Black Design || Lots great color palettes and interesting crops of her projects- it always makes me want to see the finished product!

Gloria of Little White Whale || Her stuff is always cute and clean in the best ways possible.

Jen Serafini of Jen Serafini || I love the clean lines of her shots and the colors she chooses.

Jordan Brantley of Create Like Crazy || Jordan’s stuff is always so fun and unique. Love it!

lindsay {s} thompson of Mstetson || Her stuff seems to be inspired in part by vintage lettering and signage- I’m a fan.

minna so of minna may || Lots of white and pretty lettering.  I love this board, some of which is her work.

Ravyn Stadick of Three Fifteen Design || Lots of soft colors and pretty lettering.  What’s not to like?

Sean McCabe of seanwes || His lettering is SO COOL.  Enough said.

Vanessa of Hello Vanny || I always find myself liking her shots.  She has a good mix of pretty color palettes and monochromatic shots.

Kate, I just saw your post on Love + Whimsey and immediately recognized the Rotunda in your wedding photos! My husband and I both went to UVA and loved it. We now live in Sicily with our two babies and I blog about our lives here.

Always fun to see another UVA grad!
