Easter 2013 actually looked a lot like last year’s, except not as sunny. Brian and I spent the day doing some work, and I made mimosas. But we also did some other things, so I thought I’d document it on here so that I actually remember what we did next year.
We decorated eggs this year! It was pretty lame, but hey, we did it! We didn’t actually go to church, and yes, that is a drive by shot, but there were candles. I couldn’t help myself, okay?
Brian bought the smallest ham he could find, but it was still ginormous. Good thing it turned out really well, because we’re going to be eating for while. He also made mac and cheese AND finished his bar application all in the same day. I’m gonna go ahead and call Easter a win for the B man.
How did you spend your weekend? I realized yesterday that this was probably my sixth Easter not being home, and that next year we’ll probably be back again! It kinda feels like the end of an era, and not in a bad way.
that ham looks SO GOOD. if I lived anywhere near you I’d probably be knocking at your door asking for leftovers. ;)
your meal looks delicious! yum! & where is that beautiful church? i love how you have captured the movement and stillness in the picture. hope you are having a lovely week. xo
Thanks! It’s here in Lexington- it’s kinda on the campus of W&L.
Your dinner looks delicious! I’m jealous that you dyed eggs…no one wanted to dye eggs with me.
Ok…I LOL’ed at the fact that you drove by a church and took a picture of it on Easter.
Haha we were on our way home from the store on Saturday night- it just looked so pretty, I couldn’t resist!
