I sure seem to be in the mood to make new features here on the blog lately. Since I’m so taken with desktop freebies (as you already know) it was only a matter of time until I started thinking about making some of my own. But I wanted some sort of theme to tie them together. And the other day a theme came to me.
You see, when I’m doodling I’m almost always writing song lyrics. It’s just what comes to me. So I thought it would be fun to combine my love of desktop designs, lettering, and lyrics all into one feature here on the blog.
2560 x 1440 || 1280 x 1024 || 1024 x 768 || iPad || iPhone
This first one is from the song “Houdini” by Foster the People (click to listen on Spotify.) I noticed it was stuck in my head and when I stopped to think about the words, I realized that it was actually not a bad thing to be repeating to yourself over and over again. Do you have any songs like that?
P.S. Let me know if you have any technical difficulties downloading or if there are other sizes I should make- this is new for me! You should be able to save the sizes from the download links.
AND, I edited this using what I learned from this Skillshare class– I haven’t gotten to the last step yet but so far it’s awesome!
As a music blogger, I absolutely LOVE this! :)
Love it! Thanks, Kate!
Ah! Houdini is one of my favourite tunes at the moment :)
Love & appreciate this new feature. Hand-lettering is so fun!
