Desktop Ditty 04

Desktop Ditty

10 Dec

I couldn’t let the holiday season pass without picking a Christmas song for a desktop ditty!

Obviously there are plenty of versions of this song, but sometime in the last few years I came across Sara Groves’ Christmas album, and I’m pretty obsessed.  If you haven’t heard it and are looking to switch things up in your holiday playlist, I highly recommend it.

You can listen to “Silent Night” by Sara Groves on Spotify.

What are your favorite Christmas albums?  Sarah McLachlan, Harry Connick, Jr., and Christmas with the Rat Pack are some of my favorites.

And as always, if this isn’t doing it for ya I have a whole board devoted to free wallpaper!

This is so lovely! I have to check out Sarah. I’ve been listening to podcasts while I’m working but in the car, it’s all holiday music.

This is so lovely! Greyscale, snowy trees, hand-drawn type… recipe for an instant addition to my desktop. :)

This is perfect! I’ve been putting images like this up on my computer with Christmas tunes playing – then mirroring to my Apple TV. It makes the living room feel festive, too! This is my new favorite :)

What a good idea! I may have to borrow it. :) Our family favorite is the Christmas Yule Log on our TV.

Seeing this desktop wallpaper in April is quite a different experience, but it still feels good to look at it even though I first read it as a non-holiday quote.
