Into November

monthly recap

3 Nov

This weekend came and suddenly it felt like we were at the end of the year. I’m ready to start thinking about what next year will look like, and what needs to happen in between now and then for me to get there. I even bought our Christmas cards, which is way early for me. How about you?

A note: or the last few months I’ve been writing a shorter intro and then *kaboom* there’s the recap content. It occurred to me that if you’re new around here, these posts might be a little confusing. Each month, I recap the previous month by listing my most popular posts on Instagram + the blog, as well as three desktop freebies I’ve found around the web that are currently making the rounds on my desktop. Enjoy!

October-November

Popular on Instagram

1. The sunroom on a rainy day.
2. Lettering in progress.
3. Birthday cake made by my guy.

Popular on the Blog

4. 4 mistakes I was making on my about page
5. In Retrospect
6. Paige Simple

On My Desktop

7. Design Love Fest (by Kelly Ventura)
8. Dear Lovely
9. Oh So Beautiful Paper (by Dinara Mirtalipova)

And you can always find a wider selection of desktop backgrounds on Pinterest.

P.S. this is the last week to register for In Retrospect! November is the perfect time to learn something new so that you can implement it in the new year, don’t wait to take the course later!
