Add to Cart: Cute Mugs

personal· shopping

23 Oct

Now that weather is consistently colder around here, I’ve transitioned from iced coffee to hot coffee + tea. I don’t know if mugs are just on my brain because of this or if there’s been an influx of cute mugs on the market lately, but either way, I’m going with it.

There are few ways in which I live my life that deviate from the way that I was brought up. However, my feelings about mugs are one of them. My mom has mugs that match. Well, sort of. She likes Polish Pottery, and all her mugs are either Polish Pottery patterns or these pretty traditional cream mugs (all of which I like.) But she’s never been a fan of the random mismatch of mugs.

I, on the other hand, prefer a carefully curated collection of individual mugs. When we lived in Lexington, I loved picking which mug I would use each morning. It seems like a stupid detail to enjoy, but there was just something fun about picking which mug I wanted to drink my coffee out of that day to suit my mood.

Sadly, my mug collection now lives in a box in my grandmother’s basement, but someday I will revive it and put it to good use. I love seeing how popular mugs have become online and I thought it would be fun to share a few several that I have my eye on. They make great gifts, and we all know what season is coming up!

What are your thoughts on the whole mug situation? Do you have any favorites that I haven’t listed here?

I’m pretty sure I need the “introverting” mug!

I LOVE these! Admittedly, I like most things with words on them and pretty type, but these are awesome. And I think I have to agree with Debbie— that introverting mug is awesome.
