I’m so thrilled to share today’s site launch with you guys, partly because it comes with a good story!

After I got engaged in 2009, I started playing around on the internet trying to find information about planning a wedding. I Googled something about wedding dresses and stumbled upon a site. It was called Blue-Eyed Bride, and it was the first lifestyle blog I’d ever really encountered (I know, I guess I was late to the game!)

I was totally hooked from the beginning. Through that blog, I found several others to follow and I would come home from class and lay on my bed with my laptop, just scrolling through blogs until it was time to get dinner with my roommates.

Fast forward to spring of 2014 and an email from Erin lands in my inbox. After having been married for several years, she felt it was time to transition her blog from Blue-Eyed Bride to her own name, and she needed someone to do the web portion of her new rebrand.

It felt like the biggest blog circle of life moment. It was so, so amazing to get to redesign this site that when I think about it, helped introduce me to the industry that I work in today. Crazy, right?

Whitney came up with such a beautiful new brand for Erin, which made my job really easy. I love the clean but warm aesthetic that Erin was looking for, and having been familiar with her and her brand for over five years, I think the new site captures her and her style quite nicely.

I also have to add that Erin is just as sweet as she seems on her blog, and she was laid back and easy to work with throughout the whole process. And trust me, that can be especially challenging when you’re moving a blog that is as established as this one from one domain to another. Check out the new site for yourself, I love Erin’s new about page!

Beautiful work! It’s so funny how things like that can come back around. I feel like I also discovered the lifestyle blog realm late in the game :D Glad to know I’m not alone!
